One of the world’s most famous and most visited countries is The USA. It is a very large country with 50 states, which are very varied. The state of Alaska has snow and ice through much of the year, while Hawaii is a tropical paradise. There is also a huge variation in the mainland states.
The USA’s most famous cities include New York, known for its iconic landmarks and areas, such as the Statue of Liberty and Central Park, as well as for its theatre scene, Washington DC – the capital city and home to the Whitehouse, Los Angeles, where blockbuster movies are made, and many others.
The southern states, such as Louisiana, Tennessee and Texas are known for their music. Many famous musicians came out of the southern states, such as Elvis Presley and Chuck Berry, and the music styles from this area are very distinctive, and still alive in the area today.
The Great Lakes are a very good place to visit while travelling around The USA. The Great Lakes are shared between Canada and The USA, and are also shared amongst various states, including Michigan, Wisconsin and Illinois, amongst others. They are perfect for summer recreation, and such cities as Chicago and Milwaukee are on their banks.
America is famous for movies and theme parks, and the two states to best experience these things are Florida, on the east coast, and California on the west coast. Florida is full of theme parks, including Disneyland, while California also has various theme parks, and is home to Hollywood.
